Dr. Sean Starr
Health, movement, and performance have always been a part of Dr. Sean Starr’s life. Growing up in Victoria, BC, he spent most of his time on the field, the ice, or the course—playing soccer, hockey, golf, baseball, and training in the gym. It was through these sports that he first discovered how much proper movement, strength, and injury recovery can impact not only performance but also quality of life.
That passion eventually led him to Portland, Oregon, where he studied at Western States University and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2004.
A Different Kind of Chiropractic Care
With over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Starr offers a biomechanical, evidence-based approach to care. Rather than simply chasing symptoms, he focuses on uncovering the root of the problem and restoring proper function. His treatments often combine Active Release Techniques (ART®)—the leading soft tissue therapy for breaking down restrictive, adhesive tissue and improving mobility—with precise chiropractic adjustments to bring joints back into balance and function.
He complements these core treatments with modalities like laser therapy, ultrasound, electrotherapy, and spinal decompression when needed, and pairs them with assisted stretching techniques, tailored rehab exercises and lifestyle advice. The result? Patients don’t just get relief—they gain lasting tools to stay active and prevent future issues.
Helping People Live Fully
Dr. Starr always takes the approach of helping you reach your health related goals. His philosophy is simple: restore movement, build strength, and eliminate pain—so you can keep doing what you love. From athletes to everyday movers, his focus is on giving people the freedom and confidence to stay pain free and active for life.
